CSS Conference 2022: Nordisk humor i Världen – 24-27 augusti, Lund och Köpenhamn
När nu pandemin äntligen börjar släppa sitt grepp om våra liv vill vi på Centre for Scandinavian Studies Copenhagen-Lund-Hankuk (CSS) ännu en gång välkomna världens alla skandinavister till Öresund och till vår tredje internationella konferens i Scandinavian Studies!
Konferensen kommer äga rum den 24-27 augusti, till största delen på Språk- och litteraturcentrum vid Lunds universitet, men vi kommer också förlägga en eftermiddag i Köpenhamn genom ett samarbete med Frederiksbergmuseernes avdelning för dansk humor och satir – STORM.
Årets tema är Nordisk humor i Världen, ett underutforskat fält som vi förväntar oss kommer att stimulera till nya och kreativa perspektiv på de nordiska ländernas kultur- och språksfär. På vår lista över keynotes finns flera framstående forskare inom detta område, från Skandinavien men också från Korea och USA. Särskilt stolta är vi över att den välkände filosofen Simon Critchley kommer att gästa oss!

Deadline för inlämning av abstracts är på grund av pandemin förlängt till den 15 mars.

CSS Conference 2022: Nordic humour in the world - 24-27 August, Lund and Copeanhagen
As the pandemic finally begins to let go of our lives, we at the Centre for Scandinavian Studies Copenhagen-Lund-Hankuk (CSS) want to once again welcome all scholars of Scandinavia around the world to Öresund and to our third international conference in Scandinavian Studies!
The conference will take place on 24-27 August, mostly at the Language and Literature Centre for Languages and Literature at Lund university, but we will also spend an afternoon in Copenhagen through a collaboration with the Frederiksberg Museums' department for Danish humour and satire - STORM.
This year's theme is Nordic humour in the world, an under-explored field that we expect will stimulate new and creative perspectives on the cultural and linguistic spheres of the Nordic countries. Our list of keynotes include distinguished researchers in this field, from Scandinavia but also from Korea and the US. And we are especially proud to be able to include renowned English philosopher Simon Critchley among them!

Due to the pandemic, the deadline for submitting abstracts has been extended to 15 March.
